From smuggling Bibles behind the Iron Curtain to being mobbed whilst preaching on the streets of India, to praying for Stephen Hawking on a Cambridge street to confronting Freemasonry in a Welsh chapel, this is John’s eighty-year journey from rank unbelief to a hard-won discovery: God’s true Name is Love.

John Hymus grew up in the gasworks “East End” of Cambridge. He won a place at Trinity Hall to study Russian and German, where he found Jesus in 1964. He spent the next sixty years following Him across four continents. He lives in North Wales with 11 grandchildren nearby.
