Matt Bird is the Founder of PublishU, an international publishing company that helps first-time and serial non-fiction authors write, publish and market their books worldwide.
At school, Matt was placed in remedial English classes and told he was “stupid.” In his twenties, he was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD, conditions he now recognises not as limitations, but as the very traits that drive his creativity and determination. That personal journey sits at the heart of everything he does.
Since then, Matt has authored more than 30 books and spoken in 50 countries to over a million people. He is on a mission to help others believe in themselves and overcome the obstacles standing between them and their first, or next, published book.
Beyond publishing, Matt is a passionate traveller and writer. Born in London and based in Dubai, he draws inspiration from the places he calls home and the ones he keeps returning to, among them Sicily and Cape Town, two destinations that never fail to move him.
